Community dialogues on migration for development and equality

As part of the MIDEQ work plan and Impact Interventions, the Ghana team organised four community dialogues (cross talks), each in Accra (Greater Accra Region), Kasoa (Central Region) Manso Nkwanta (Ashanti Region), and Asutuare (Eastern region). These community dialogues provided opportunities for migrants, community members, experts from private sector, research, and academia as well as public officials, to exchange information and perspectives, clarify viewpoints, and develop solutions to issues relevant to both migrants and host communities. Ultimately, this initiative created a platform to discuss ways of ensuring the peaceful coexistence of migrants and citizens and for addressing the following critical issues.
