Nepal Institute for Social and Environmental Research (NISER)

Nepal Institute for Social and Environmental Research (NISER) is an independent Research Institute duly registered with the government of Nepal. NISER conducts research in different contemporary issues prominently in areas of Gender and Adolescent; Migration, mobility and development; women and justice. In collaboration with world-renowned research institutions, NISER has been conducting a number of research projects and works with a broad range of actors (other research institutions, likeminded organization and individuals) to provide independent, evidence-based analysis and research findings to contemporary issues affecting lives and livelihoods of people of Nepal and beyond.

NISER aims to contribute, to addressing the evidence based research, thematic research and development-oriented research and analysis; promote informed policy debate on its thematic areas; help the government and other relevant policy makers in the formulation and implementation of relevant policies and their effective implementation.
