Hari Harindranath is a Professor of Information Systems in the School of Management at Royal Holloway, University of London and a member of the UNESCO Chair in ICT4D, also based at Royal Holloway. Hari has a background in political economy and holds a doctorate in Information Systems from the London School of Economics. His research centres around the social and organisational implications of information and communications technology (ICT), including the use of ICT for development and in developing/transition countries, and ICT use in the context of migration and social movements. Hari is an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Information Technology, and the ORBIT Journal for Responsible Research & Innovation; Associate Editor of the Journal of Global Information Management, Senior Editor of The Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Developing Countries, and a co-founder of the Association for Information Systems-affiliate conference, International Conference on Information Resources Management (Conf-IRM). Hari also serves as the Director of Internationalisation for the School of Management at Royal Holloway.
