In collaboration with the MIDEQ team in Ghana, the "Perspectives of South-South Migration" exhibition was organised by MIDEQ in China as part of their Impact Intervention. Showcasing over 100 photographs of migrants and locals, this exhibition was hosted by the Centre for South-South Migration and Development at China Agricultural University. Contributors of photographs included migrants and academics from both China and Africa, adding to the exhibition's diverse perspectives on South-South migration dynamics.

The exhibition provided a creative platform to explore the burgeoning impact of South-South migration on socio-economic development. It offered nuanced insights into the experiences of migrants in the Global South, encompassing labour, business, and student migration in China and African nations. Through visual representation, the exhibition highlighted the transformative potential of migration for individuals, families, and communities in the Global South. Structured around three themes—business migration in the South-South Corridor, student migration in China, and migration and cross-cultural exchanges. The exhibit was showcased from March to April 2023 at the College of International Development and Global Agriculture, China Agricultural University, and the College of Humanities and Development.

The "Perspectives of South-South Migration" exhibition not only offered insights into the diverse experiences of migrants but also paved the way for ongoing learning and engagement. By establishing new centres of knowledge and understanding, it became a valuable resource for comprehending the complexities of migration and its impact on individuals and communities. Furthermore, the exhibition's utilisation of modern technologies and narrative documentation opened avenues for exchange, training, and the formation of inclusive networks. Through these efforts, the exhibition contributed to fostering transnational solidarity and ensuring migrants' awareness of and access to their rights. Overall, it provided stakeholders with essential resources to grasp the narratives and implications of South-South migration, promoting empathy, understanding, and informed action.
