On International Women’s Day - March 8th 2024, there will be a special conference in Central London. Here you can see art and photography and hear first-hand from those on the frontline supporting women affected by war.
Hannah Rose Thomas travelled to some of the most violent places on earth to meet women affected by war. She led trauma-healing art workshops but also painted stunning portraits of the women, helping to tell their stories and restore their dignity. All the portraits and stories will be available there in a beautiful book to ensure you can experience the power of these images. Profits from the book will go to charities that support women in conflict zones.
In the evening there will be an exclusive reception with a keynote speech by Tamsin Greig. Hannah Rose Thomas will be interviewed and you can hear from the frontline in the Ukraine and learn what work is happening to support women in conflict across the world.
