Dr Kando Amédée Soumahoro

Lecturer and Researcher, Department of Sociology, University Felix Houphouet-Boigny

Graduate of a doctorate in sociology, Dr Soumahoro is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Sociology at the University Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Ivory Coast.

He is a permanent researcher at the Laboratory of Economic Sociology and Anthropology of Symbolic Belongings (LAASSE) and Associate Researcher at the Institute for Good Governance, Development and Foresight (IGDP), as well as a member of the Mande Studies Association (MANSA) and APAD. He has also collaborated with research centers (CIRES / CAPEC, ORS), UN agencies (WHO, UNFPA, UNICEF, WFP, OECD, UNAIDS) and development agencies (GIZ, ENGENDER HEALTH).

Dr Soumahoro is the author of several scientific texts published and in the process of being published in both French and English, at national and international levels. He is a member of the Editorial Secretariat for two scientific journals.
